Past Events:
- Our office completed a remodeling project and held a celebratory Open House on Sept. 27, 2007. Please come visit our new facilities sometime.
- Our annual Holiday Party & Craft Sale was held on Dec. 8, 2007 in Alexandria, VA. Over 200 people attended for entertainment such as Ethiopian dancing and Korean drumming, and enjoyed food and a craft sale with items from around the world.
- 2008 calendars from Eastern Social Welfare Society are available for $6 each. Proceeds benefit ESWS programs in Korea. Please call our office to place an order.
- June 7, 2008 -Over 100 people attended our annual picnic at Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, VA. Thank you to Outback Steakhouse for providing food for our guests.
- The Dragon B Tour to Korea of seven families departed Washington, D.C. on June 24, 2008 and spent two weeks in Korea.
- Culture Camp on August 7-9, 2008 in McLean, VA welcomed over 100 children to learn about multiculturalism in an adoption-friendly setting.
- A special Korean music performance was held on August 9, 2008 at 5PM at Northern VA Community College.
