• placing information in the adoption record
• contacting orphanage for additional information
• translating and passing letters and photos to members of the birth family or foster family, if already known by the agent
• searching for the birth family and/or foster family
• visiting birth family or foster family and filming a video
• contacting birth family or foster family to prepare them for an upcoming visit from the adoptive family

Not all services are available in every situation and are dependent upon individual country laws and circumstances surrounding the adoption.  A post adoption worker will help you set realistic expectations and discuss your request prior to making it.
