Mission: We are a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to helping abused and neglected children who are dependents of the court, to live in secure and stable homes until they are reunited with their birth families.  When reunification does not occur, we are committed to finding a permanent home for the children.  We offer Adoption Home Study services for all types of adoption including International Adoption, Domestic Independent Adoption and adoption through the foster care system.  Our Adoption workshops cover all adoption issues related to each type of adoption.

Adoption Services:

• Regularly scheduled information meetings for families considering adoption
• Individual consultations for families in the adoption process
• Support groups for families in the adoption process
• Pre-Adoption Workshops

Post Adoption Services:

• Post adoption counseling (therapist/social workers on staff)
• Referrals for post adoption counseling and support groups
• Post adoption parent education groups
• Support groups for parents
• Support groups for adopted children- preadolescent
• Support groups for adopted children- adolescent
• Individual and family counseling

Geographic Service Area: Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency serves Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernadino, Orange and Ventura County.
