Adoption agencies working in Russia must be accredited by the Russian Federation. CHSFS was the first agency in the US to be reaccredited, in the most recent licensing process in June 2007. Our Russia program has been active since 1992 and we have long-term, trusting relationships with our Russian staff.
Because Russian adoption law allows regional interpretation, many of the logistics of Russian adoption can vary from region to region. Our staff will select a region for you depending on your priorities and where there is greatest need.
