The Children's Home of "Rodnichok" is located in Vanino, in the far eastern region of Khabarovsk in Russia.  The home is currently in desperate need of improvements, but there is no additional funding from the government to cover the costs. There are several proposed projects which would improve the childrens' living conditions and educational opportunities.

The projects include improved tools for cooking and storing foods for the children. A hot water heater would enable the children to shower and ease the work of the staff by having hot water on hand.  There would also be new equipment for arts education and for the computer classroom.  Additionally, new furniture will make the children's environment more comfortable and safe.
