We have met with the government and received their endorsement along with a deed and survey for the designated space for this development. They have donated the necessary land and are greatly appreciative of the work of CHSFS.

On August 15, 2007, Alan Bachman, CHSFS Director of International Child Welfare, met with the school advisory committee in Hossana to discuss the project. The people of Hossana are very excited and also appreciate that their children will have a school, hopefully in the near future.

The goal is to raise $300,000 for the school project that will include classrooms, drinkable water, sanitary facilities, lunch program, library and more. To date we have received approximately $75,000 toward this project. As soon as the funds are raised, construction can begin.
