Our hope is to provide these vulnerable children and families an improved quality of life, a chance for an education and a better opportunity to achieve personal success.

This school is located in the isolated rural community of Ottoro in the Southern Region of Ethiopia. Ottoro is approximately three hours south of Hossana, where many of our adopted children are from. In this community only one third of school-aged children are currently enrolled.

New classrooms with supporting infrastructure were constructed and ready for use for fall 2007. This school includes new desks, chalkboards, playground equipment, kitchen, clean water and sanitation facilities.

There is an ongoing need for donations to support the operating expenses at the school to include salaries, food and supplies.

Update: A new block of classrooms was recently opened. There are now 488 students attending the Ottoro school. Future plans include drilling a well and building additional latrines.
