Mexico Adoption
Adopt a child from Mexico
Contact UsGet Started

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Mexico through Children's Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS). We are proud to be chosen by the Mexican government in the state of Sonora to help children find families. This is a privilege based on our long history in adoption as well as our agency's pre-adoptive education, preparation and post placement services.

Children’s Home Society & Family Services is currently accepting applicants for our Mexico pilot program from families open to children ages five and above. CHSFS is working with Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF), Mexico’s central childhood welfare agency to facilitate adoptions from a North Mexican state. Parents and families who are interested in learning more about adopting a young child from Mexico are encouraged to contact Children's Home Society & Family Services at 651-696-6393 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, 800-952-9302 toll-free, or e-mail us at Mexico@chsfs.org.
