| CHSFS is currently accepting applications for the regular India Program from couples in which at least one prospective adoptive parent carries OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card/s as well as couples in which one prospective adoptive parent carries an Indian passport. India's WIC (waiting children with special needs) remains open to all families.
CHSFS has been placing Indian children with adoptive families for the last 30 years. In 2007, we placed 40 children from Kerala, Chennai and Delhi. The India program generally places children up to the age of five years. Families can expect a great deal of support from the India team.
