| The Mentor and Mentee (M&M) program was created in 1997 by a group of four Korean adopted women. They wanted to provide young adopted Koreans with a stable relationship, fostering positive beliefs about themselves and their Korean identity. Their mission: to create friendships between younger and older adopted persons in a meaningful, positive atmosphere. M&M thought a partnership with Children's Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS) would allow this program to touch the lives of more adoptees. Today the program continues to grow and has expanded to include internationally and domestically adopted adults and youth, both males and females from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
Please call or e-mail for more information! A CHSFS staff person can be reached at 651.255.2324 or via e-mail at MMProgram@chsfs.org. There is a one time registration and program fee for mentees.
