New/on-going projects in need of sponsorship:

CHSFS Abilitation Center Since 2006, CHSFS has substantially funded the Abilitation Center at Byelskoe Ustye."  Many children in Russia grow up in an orphanage and are then launched out into the real world without many real life skills.  The center is similar to a halfway house, and helps to give the young adults skills that they need to not only survive but thrive in life outside an institution.  

Rodnichok Children's Home Project This project is aimed at improving the living conditions and educational opportunities of the children at the Rodnichok Children's Home in Vanino, located in the Khabarovsk Region.

Korsakovo Children's Home Grounds and Gardens Project This project is designed to contribute to the health, safety and physical education of the children who reside at the Korsakovo Children's Home by improving the conditions of the outdoor grounds and creating outdoor physical education opportunities.

Korsakovo Children's Home: Boy's vocational workshop   The boys who live at the Korsakovo Children's Home now have workshop to learn skills that will help them when they someday leave the Children's Home.  Click on the link to the right to see pictures of the boys with their very first completed project!
