Orphanage Assistance. It is the intention of CHSFS to improve the lives of children that remain in their birth country, whether they have the potential for adoption or not. We will seek out and be open to projects and relationships in order to meet this objective. The requests are often made to meet an immediate need, for example a medical emergency or a response to a disaster. Furthermore, gifts are frequently given by adoptive families to be directed back to the organization that cared for their child. This grant allows us to receive and distribute these donations to support the ongoing needs at an orphanage. Those organizations that we have a current relationship with include Ayudame, CRAN, Los Pisingos, La Casita Nicolas and Chiquitines.
