Family Development Program

The Family Development Program is designed to support vulnerable families who are transitioning to self-sufficiency.

  • This exciting, new community-based project is located in the Hossana area.
  • Many birth families of adopted children reside in the communities around Hossana and may be eligible for support through this program.
  • The Family Development Program will help meet the immediate needs of families, such as food and clothing, while building the foundation for self-sufficency.
  • Families in this program will be educated and equipped to help start a small business.
  • This project includes a special needs fund for emergencies such as fires, illness or drought.
  • The Family Development Program will serve both community members who have been affected by adoption and those that have not.
