Mission:

All children of the world are entitled to the support, protection, permanency, guidance and nururance of a family.  Family adoption consultants provides the opportunity of adoption for children in need and opportunity for families to provide a permanent home to those children.

Adoption Services:

• Regularly scheduled information meetings for families considering adoption
• Individual consultations with families considering adoption
• Direct international adoption programs
• Support group for families in the adoption process

Post Adoption Services:

• Referrals for post adoption counseling and support groups
• Homeland tours
• Search/intermediary/opennness services

Birth Parent Services:

• Pregnancy counseling
• Birth parents' support group
• Open adoption counseling
• Resources for parenting

Geographic Service Area:

Statewide services in Michigan and Ohio.  Two Michigan offices in Kalamazoo and Utica (Detroit Suburb).

Additional Information:

Agency licensed since 1982.  Administrators all have a minimum of 30 years experience in international adoption. FAC has over 3600 placements since 1982.
