| It is not unusual for birthparents or their family members to search the Web for adoptive families. One of the opportunities available through our website is our online parent profile. This is a preliminary opportunity for waiting adoptive families to present themselves online in a Dear Birth Parent letter with pictures.
If you are considering placing a child for adoption and need to find a possible family, feel free to view these letters from prospective parents. Contact information is provided for each family in the parent profile section.
Keep in mind that not all of our waiting families' Dear Birthparent letters are online. Many choose not to use this service and only appear in our Waiting Families Book at the agency. Approximately 80 families' profiles are in CHSFS's Waiting Families Book.
