| Thank you for your interest in adopting from Colombia through Children's Home Society & Family Services. Our Colombia adoption program has joined children and families for 25 years. Partnerships with 9 different orphanage programs give you more open doors through which to find your child - and give us more options when helping you.
Our years of experience help us negotiate the varying wait-times. Additionally:
- Colombia offers good medical care to waiting children.
- Children have been young when recently referred.
- Only one parent is required to stay beyond 10 days to finalize the adoption.
We are currently taking applications from families open to older children, sibling groups, and children with special needs, or applications for infants from Colombian-American families.
