Part II: China Country Program Fees
Country program fees of approximately $8080-$9650 cover the costs of government and legal procedures and paperwork done in the U.S. and China. In brief, these fees cover the work done by the in-country coordinators, representatives, and interpreters, donations to the child welfare system, authentication of the dossier, processing and translation of the dossier. Please note that these fees do not include the CHSFS application fee, the CHSFS processing & placement fee, nor costs related to travel, lodging in China, and immigration (Citizenship and Immigration Services).
