Mission: Children's Home Society of Florida provides effective solutions to build and support healthy families for Florida's children.

Adoption Services:

• Individual consultations with families considering adoption
• Referrals for post adoption counseling and support groups
• Post adoption counseling (therapists/social workers on staff)

Post Adoption Services:

• Individual and family counseling
• Search/intermediary/openness services
• Participate in local support groups for families with Asian children and one with children from Eastern Europe. 

Birth Parent Services:

• Pregnancy Counseling
• Resources for parenting
• Maternity home (Children's Home Society has one maternity home located in Jacksonville, but it is not widely used)

Geographic Service Area: Children's Home Society of Florida serves the entire state, but our divison serves 8 counties in north central Florida.  Six of their divisions of Children's Home Society in the state does adoption services.

Additional Information: Our division provides home studies, educational seminars and post placement services for families adopting domestic children through our agency as well as home studies, educational seminars and post placement services for families utilizing the services of international agencies throughout the United States.
