Our Representatives Shirley, Peter, Molly, and/or David Pan will guide you through the entire local adoption process, provide translation, arrange travel and accommodation, and act as your advocates and companions in China. You will travel to China for about twelve days with a group of 4 to 13 families. You will receive your child on your first or second day there. The majority of the time will be spent in the province where your child resides. After that you will travel to Guangzhou to obtain your child's visa at the U.S. Consulate.
It is frequently the case that adoptive families wish to travel to Beijing or Hong Kong prior to beginning the in-country adoption process to sightsee or relax in anticipation of becoming new parents. Our China representatives will work with you to arrange special travel itineraries if you so desire. You may elect to have other children, family members or friends travel with you on this special trip.
