Age Guidelines
CHSFS requires that there be no more than 50 years between the youngest parent and the adopted child. This age limit applies to single applicants as well. CHSFS requires that in a two-parent placement, there be no more than 58 years between the age of the child and the older parent. The age ranges listed on the International Adoption Chart may also represent age requirements set by the country.
