Dear Birth Parent Letters

It is not unusual for birthparents or their family members to search the Web for adoptive families. One of the opportunities available through our website is our online parent profile.   View online profiles

Legal Help

Many families find it helpful to talk with an attorney about the legal issues in adoption. We recommend that you talk with an attorney that understands the nuances of adoption law. For more information, contact the Academy of Adoption Attorneys.

Domestic Infant Waiting Family Group

This group of families meets from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at CHSFS. It is open to couples and singles with completed adoption studies. Prospective adoptive parents meet others who are experiencing the same hopes, concerns and questions. The group is informal and is often small, with a different mix of families each month. It is a great way to receive support, get updates, hear speakers and continue learning about open adoption.
