Going off the beaten path, this unique tour experience is focused on exploring issues in traditional and contemporary Korean society through learning from members in the community and giving back to those in need.

Adopted persons age 18 and older and their spouses are invited to join this service-based tour where we will be volunteering with a particular emphasis on assisting children, youth, and the underserved population.

Tour package includes round-trip airfare, lodging, in-country transportation, and most meals.  Participants should bring their own money for entertainment, some meals, and gifts.

To encourage meaningful connections during this special group experience, the tour size will be limited in number and will be led by two adult adopted persons with extensive experience traveling in Korea. In addition to adopted Korean adults, we encourage other internationally adopted persons to join.

Tour Highlights include:

  • Volunteer at a children's home or school
  • Deliver meals to needy people
  • Learn about rural life and farm visit
  • Tour one of Korea's modern factories
  • Stay in a historic Buddhist temple
  • Visit your Korean adoption agency
  • Evening entertainment options

Birthfamily and foster family search and meeting services will NOT be facilitated through this tour.  Arrangements to do so must be made through the adopted person's placing agency and the meetings should happen before or after the tour.
