Yes. However, we would like you to do as many of the tour activities as possible. And after all, you will have paid for them all! However, there are several nights on the tour at which time you are on your own for dinner; there is a host-family night, and there are the last 1.5 days of the tour that are open to shopping or alternative activities. We would welcome you to use one of these times to meet up with your friend. If you decide, per the itinerary, that there is an activity that you would be okay with opting out of, please let us know ahead of time and you can use this time for your personal meetings.
